I have more energy and in better shape
I had never worked with a health coach and nutritionist before I started with Kim. She did an incredible job listening to what my goals and needs were. Kim taught me the importance of tracking what I was eating and how it affected my body, mind, and energy. Then she put me on a plan that I could manage myself and was always giving me new meal ideas. She made the process fun and easy. I met my goals but I’m still learning. I have more energy, I am in better shape than I have been in a long time, and I have never felt better. Kim is the best! She listens, she understands, and she can help.

It is a very easy program to follow
I was stuck in the 140s for almost 2 years after being at my biggest, 189 lbs. I thought I would never get any lighter. I found Kim. I started her program and within the 12 weeks had lost 22 lbs and 2% body fat. It is a very program to follow. Kim is amazing and so supportive!
Back to my original college weight
When I started the weight loss process, I was 220 pounds. I realized I had to lose weight, but I also had a lot of personal biases about how successful I could be. When I tried dieting on my own the past, I could never seem to get below 200 lbs. With Kim’s help I’ve successfully gotten my weight down to 191 lbs. (my original college weight).
More importantly, Kim has given me an invaluable tool for handling post-vacation and post-holiday weight gain. In the past, I would put on the weight during the holidays (as we all do). Then, I would get frustrated, and think, “What’s the point? I can’t keep it off.” Then I would fall back into my old habits. Now, when I put on a few pounds, I just apply the Inspired Wellness principles and I’m back to my pre-vacation or holiday weight. It’s a powerful tool, and Kim is excellent at keeping me motivated and on track.
I am leaner and stronger
I want to give a BIG shoutout to Kim and Inspired Wellness. Kim is a lifestyle coach and a public health nutritionist. My intent in meeting with Kim was to find a knowledgeable nutrition coach for my clients that wanted a more well-rounded program. I began following Kim’s program and ideas personally so I could confidently show my clients that her plan works and they could trust her. Being in the fitness industry for well over 20 years, I have gained a lot of knowledge in nutrition, weight loss, and meal planning. With the Inspired Wellness program, I was able to see for the first time, things that I was overeating (even healthy foods), foods I wasn’t eating enough of and the balance of nutrients and macros that my body needed. During the 12 week plan, I encountered 2 major eye-opening experiences:
(1) My protein deficiency . I have always felt that I ate enough protein for my body and the muscle mass that I have (and wanted to have). BUT I WAS NOT!
(2) Balancing out my hormones. Being a mid 40’s woman, and going through natural changes that come along with age, I was experiencing more fatigue, lack of motivation, and mood swings.
Kim reassured me several times that balancing the food and macros would turn all of that around. AND IT DID! I feel amazing: more energy, more desire for my workouts, better sleep, less mood swings…Along with these mental and nutritional improvements, I also achieved some physical gains! Because of my lack of motivation, hormone changes, and overeating, I had gained weight and increased body fat over the last year. Within the 12 week program I lost over 15 pounds on the scale, decrease my body fat significantly and lost inches in my torso and I am leaner and stronger now.
Kim offers different levels of programming. The weekly accountability that is part of her program is just what I needed to stay on track.
A tremendous encouragement
I cannot overstate how thankful I am for Kim. She has not only been a tremendous encouragement to me personally, but she has also given me the tools that I have needed to overcome my life-long preoccupation with food. I have tried many different diets over the years and have had success with some of them. But this success has always come at the cost of greater preoccupation with food. The result has been that I have inevitably gained the weight back once the diet was over. With Kim’s help, that has now changed. I have not only lost 30 pounds with Kim, but I have done it without ever dieting in the traditional sense or exercising. She has set me free from my unhealthy understandings about food. If you have had trouble with diets too, I would highly recommend you talk to Kim. I know you will find lasting success under her direction.
I Feel Amazing
HUGE thanks to Kim and @inspiredwellnessfl. As I aged my body was obviously changing. The inches were creeping up around my waist and thighs. My hormones were out of balance, I was experiencing more fatigue, and having a definite lack of motivation. At the age of 50 I had been practicing what I thought was good eating habits, choosing to eat healthy, and meal planning. After meeting with Kim and starting her Inspired Wellness program I discovered the importance of balancing macros and nutrients, proper portion sizes, and increased water intake. My goal was to definitely lose a few pounds but more importantly to FEEL better. Kim’s program and constant support helped me achieve my goal weight, getting leaner and stronger, and become more focused with less fatigue. Thanks to Kim I have developed a lifestyle change that is suited to me and I FEEL AMAZING!!
